When sweating just isn't enough

If you had been eating really well and working out regularly and were muchly pleased to have lost almost 3 pounds in one week. But then you got all cocky about your self control and amazing workout ethic and figured you could celebrate your husband's return from a business trip with a 4 day fried food binge-a-thon thus resulting in 2 pound weight gain, a very pouty Monday and a determination to eat really healthy and work out lots and lots and lots.

I'm sure that you would never do anything like that ...but if you had... you might need a quick morale burst to keep your weight loss momentum. And if that were the case, I might recommend that you start by eating really well the day before. Then the next morning wake up and go on a walk with your husband. When you get home, drink a very strong cup of coffee on an empty stomach. You should then wait about an hour to see if this has any “effects”. If so, I would recommend that you wait another hour for those “effects” to work themselves out.

Remember “no pain, no gain” er…loss.

After you are fairly sure that the coffee had done it’s job…go weigh yourself and be proud. A 1.3 pound weight loss in one day is quite an accomplishment.

Go you!

Isn't it amazing what a thorough bowel cleansing will do for your self esteem!?

ps...I am in no way endorsing this as an entire weight loss regime. Just an every once in a while motivational aid. 'nuff said.
