"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"

Several weeks ago my friend Lisa said she had a surprise lined up for me and another friend to say "thank you" for helping her out recently. I figured that would be fun...something like dinner and a movie or maybe massages or something like that. All of which sounded delightful. But that most of all it would just be fun to get out of the house and have some girl time.

As the night we were all to go approached, Kevin started teasing me that we were going to the Miley Cyrus concert that was in town or that Lisa was taking us clubbing downtown which is so not our scene at all. I told Lisa and she laughed.

I started to get excited about the day before because I just loooove surprises and I really had no idea what we were going to do.

That night as I was waiting for them to come and get me, I started to get nervous. I felt like I was going on a first date or something... just like it used to when a boy was coming to get me and I didn't know what he had planned.

It was so fun!

So then she got there and she was looking way too cute for us to be getting massages and then we drove past the place we normally go for dinner and a movie and kept on heading to downtown Dallas.

What in the world? Where was she taking us? Were we really going to see Miley? that would be fun...but weird.

Eventually I figured out that we were headed to the Fair but why would the 3 of us be dressed so cute to go to the Fair...I was not wearing good shoes for walking around much!

And then all of a sudden I saw a sign.....AH HA!! We were going to see Mary Poppins at Fair Park.

SQUEEL!!

I had heard about it and was wanting to go but didn't think it was going to happen. It is the touring Broadway show with the original actors and everything.

It was practically perfect in every way.

The singing! The dancing! The set!

I have not clapped that much or that hard in a very long time. Possibly never.

At one point during "Step In Time" Bert walked up one wall and then upside down along the ceiling, stopped in the middle, tap danced, walked to the other wall and down to the floor. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Thank you Lisa for a truly wonderful night. Love you, girl!

*this clip is from the Broadway show and is pretty much what I saw. Freaking awesome.

YAY! How fun! I had to laugh, 'cause I was just singing this song to Zoe a couple days ago. I tried to get her to say it, but she wouldn't, hahahaha! I'll just have to show this to her, and maybe then she'll WANT to say it!

You'll have to tell me if she says it! And get it on video because I bet that would be adorable!
