Catching Up on Stuffs

I have been trying to blog for like 3 days now. Each time I had a different malfunction. It was very frustrating. I am hoping (fingers crossed!) that this time will work...OR ELSE!

Well...it took all night for these photos to upload soooo...I'm going to write about them and then call it good.

First up! Halloween costumes.

We were zombies! We made up a batch of fake blood (corn syrup, red food coloring and chocolate syrup) and then got messy! If you are going to do this I recommend putting it on your clothes the night before because fake blood does not dry quickly and if you aren't careful it will get everywhere.I was the most proud of my head wound. It made me happy. Well, as happy as an undead can be! RAR!

Next we have the little birdies that I made from a pattern I bought from Etsy. I was going to show some more birdies that I made but as Blogger is being MOST uncooperative I cannot.

They weren't too hard to make, just time consuming and required some trial and error to get the technique down. But they were so sweet and I loved making them once I figure out each pattern. I made about 7 or 8 of them and if I do say so myself the little flock looked quite adorable at the Traci's baby shower for sweet Emilia. I was so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful celebration. I really loved being able to go out to California and meet all of Traci's amazing friends and, of course, spend the weekend with one of my dearest friends!

Onward!

A couple of weeks ago Etsy Dallas had their Holiday craft show and so, of course, I had to go. Kara went with me. First we stopped at Cafe Brazil for some yummy brunch.

And I had the most amaaaazing S'mores latte. Seriously. MMMMMMmmmm!

Then full and happy we went over to wait in line for the Jingle Bash to be one of the first in the door and receive 1 of 50 goody bags. It was definitely worth the 1/2 hour we spent in line. The bags had some really cool stuff in them. Unfortunately I forgot to take any more pictures that day...so no photos of the craft fair or my goody bag. BUT just look at that photo of the latte. The goody bag was as awesome as that latte. The craft fair....meh. I wasn't so impressed with the venue. It was very crowded and the traffic flow between booth was pretty awful. I could only handle the suffocating crowds for a little while and then we had to split. All and all though it was a great experience and I'll be going to any craft fair that Etsy Dallas has in the future.

So I still have a few more things to write about but I think I'll save those for tomorrow...so you know..next week.

Later, peeps!

Yay! An update! I get so giddy when I see you posting again.

Thank you, once again, for being such a huge part of the baby shower and for all the work you put into it...and just for being here. I couldn't have imagined celebrating without you.

Did you get anything at the craft fair?

well, I do so love to make you giddy!

You are very welcome....I was so honored to be a part of such a special celebration!

I did. I bought some Christmas cards. They are pretty cool. I don't know where I put them though. So that could be problematic.
