Sharpies, Sharpies Everywhere

Because I feel that since I announced my "packing up and moving to Texas" laziness to the entire internet I must now do something about it.

So I bought an 8 pack of colored sharpies!

To color code the boxes.

And there are so many pretty pretty colors to choose from. In fact, I was overwhelmed with all the color coding possibilities and I just want you all (all 3 of you) to know that I showed some great restraint in not purchasing the full Sharpie color spectrum. Did you know that there are something like 24 colors? 24! Well, there are. And I was good because I reasoned with myself that I do not have 24 rooms to pack, so I do not need 24 colors. Plus, I pictured the look on Kevin's face if he found out I spend nearly $20 on Sharpies and I quickly decided to be content with my pretty pack of 8.

Okee dokee then...enough about the Sharpies. Sort of.

Now my nature is to then say "Hey, I bought the sharpies. I'm good for another week! No use in pushing it and over-exerting myself!" And perhaps settling on which colors I wish to use for which rooms. But I am turning 30 in a month, you know. So I figure it is time to do what a mature and responsible 30 year old would do. And that is to not wait until a week before we move to start packing.

No! I shall start tonight!

I'm starting with my closet and my craft room. Well, they are kind of one and the same as my closet resides in (and on the floor of) my craft room. I'm just going to do 1-3 boxes of the things that I am absolutely sure I will not need in the next month.

(Hmmm...I wonder which of my 8 Sharpie color options I will assign to my craft room! So many choices! But not as many as there could be, because remember,I am good and full of self restraint.)

And as I am sure I will be full of energy and enthusiam this evening I am also planning on cleaning my upstairs bathroom. But this task is more of a necessity as my tub is starting to creep me out.

hmmm....I wonder how all these lofty and ambitious goals will actually play out! No matter what, though, the tub...it will be cleaned and sparkly come tomorrow!
