I answered the phone at work today and it went a little something like this.
______

Me.
Thank you for calling, this is Shelley.

Him.
Hi, I need to talk to your pyro girl.

Me.
Silence. (thinking thinking...fireworks, who does fireworks here?!) Um. Our pyro girl?

Him.
Yes. Your pyro girl.

Me. silence.. (more thinking)

Him.
You know...the girl that cuts the checks.

Me.
OH. (light bulb. Ding!) You want accounts payable. One moment, please.

Ahahahaha! One of the attorneys I worked with in Boise was from Texas, and he would alway say, Hai Saice (Hey Stace...) AND, a few years ago when I was working, we had a guy there with a thick accent who was talking about "Mack". We were like, "Mack who?". . . figured out it was Mike! Crazy...soon you'll be here and we'll all tell you you're getting an accent. Hopefully we'll still be able to understand you :0)
