That's cause it's warm, but kind of creepy!
Hi I'm Kristen, Emily directed me to your site, I'm from Indiana and moved to Fort Worth about 5 years ago and my Mom just moved to College Station last week. Hope you are liking Texas and I swear it grows on you :) Before you know it you'll be singing Deep In The Heart Of Texas and not understanding why everyone is pitching a fit about 95 degree weather back home, why, it's 103 here and you can barely feel it. Welcome to the state :)
Oh and yes, there are a lot of birds and you never get used to it. It's disgusting and creepy.
