Road Trip: Days 3 & 4

Yesterday and today have been pretty uneventful and borderline boring. Lots of boring miles of sage brush and dirt and straight straight road.

See...booooorrrrriiiiinnnnggg...



A highlight of our trip was scheduled for yesterday. Because we are white and nerdy and thought it would be awesome to check out Roswell, NM. We imagined it to be this totally quirky funny little town with diners and alien stuff everywhere.

Not!

When we rolled into town, we discovered that it is quite the large town with Target and Wal-Mart and every fast food restaurant you can imagine. There was alien stuff everywhere....but it's not quite the same when it's on the Wal-Mart, you know what I mean?!

So we obviously quite disappointed. But we did get our kitsch on by stopping in at the UFO Research Center.

Last night we stayed in Lubbock, TX. Eh, not so much to say about that. And today's trip was WAY boring.

We are currently in a cute little hotel in dowtown Dallas. It feels good to finally have the road trip behind us. Tomorrow we will get the keys to our house. YAY!

Unfortunately our stuff doesn't arrive until Monday. BOO! Because of that we will be without internet for a couple days, but I will try to find a coffee shop to update from!
